Look How They've Grown

They are growing so quickly. Soon they will be flying around.

Hopefully they will like our gardens enough to stay close by.

They are starting to get their feathers.

I wish you could see just how small the nest is.

It is only about 1-1/2 inches in diameter.

The birds are about the size of my thumb.

The Handiwork of Padme

Right now my Dad is not very happy with Padme. Whenever I leave her for any length of time she rebels and takes it out on my parent's plants.

She looks innocent enough.

This was my Dad's pride and joy.

A once beautiful thriving Gardenia bush in full bloom

until I went camping over the weekend.

Mom was home but it just wasn't the same as having me there.

Please forgive me.



This fern use to be twice the size.

My parents don't believe her. Any suggestions on how to keep my dog out of the plants?

Beginnings

After posting a picture of hummingbirds on my mother's blog I was persuaded to begin a blog of my own. I will continue the journey of the hummingbirds here.

I also plan on taking pictures of nature and other things that I enjoy. You can expect to see some Star Wars photos along the way with a variety of other things. I started with something simple. I went out to our backyard this morning and choose a few flowers from our gardens.
