I just got back from Boy Scout Camp this past week. I had a wonderful time. My cousin and I spent a lot of time together working hard on merit badges. I earned:
- Indian Lore
- Wood Carving
- Leather work
- Rifle Shooting
- Art
- Environmental Science.
I also received partials in:
- Camping
- Personal Management
This is a sign that our troop made for our camp site.
I spent about 4 hours a day working on merit badges
here at the Handicraft area.
Our Scoutmaster was tired of telling everyone
what time it was so he brought up a
clock and hung it on a tree.
Pretty clever!
I found this twisted oak tree.
It had been burned out.
This is how big it is compared to my Dad.
For Environmental Science, I had to do a service
project. I choose to redo this trail.
I really liked these ferns.
Camp was great, I can't wait to go back next year.

ReplyDeleteI remember hearing about the older boy's camping experiences when we were all younger. It is great that you are finally old enough to enjoy this each year. I am glad you had a good time and learned so many new things! You've got Arianna all excited to become a Girl Scout someday! :)
